Over the years I have made and given away afghans and hats for my friends and family as they have welcomed new little members into the family. Most of these items were of my own design. When I set out to make these items, I had an idea of what I wanted. I prefer solid, thick, and flexible items without a lot of holes that baby's fingers and toes can get tangled in. It was hard to find patterns that fit this desciption, so I started making my own.
Unfortunately, I haven't been keeping good records of my designs. I have very few pictures of the items I gave away, and almost nothing written down. So I recently began the slow process of recreation. With the encouragement of my friends and family I will eventually get this done, even with my 3 small boys running around the house.
Currently I have 3 afghan patterns completed. I'm working on hats, headbands, flowers, and a variety of other items. I'm also working on video tutorials to accompany them.
